Elise has a heart for teens and desires to write young adult fiction stories rooted in Christ for them. She serves in middle school ministry, is a Library Trustee, and her work history includes Publisher Relations at a book retailer.
Elise is the mom of three boys, twenty-five hens, and forty houseplants. She lives her “happily ever after” in Central Illinois with her husband, Steve, where they maintain a large garden, orchard, and fruit plots on a few acres they affectionately call “The Haroldson Homestead.”
Their family loves traveling to her husband’s hometown of Park Rapids, Minnesota and Elise’s family dairy farm in Viola, Wisconsin.
